A week before the March holidays, I went to a cool place in Malaysia called Cameron Highlands. I did lots of stuffs in Cameron Highlands.I got to know people,and I also got to spend more time with my friends. On the first day, we traveled through bus.
At first, the trip was really boring so we played our PSP until we almost reach Cameron Highlands. The scenery was large and beautiful but it is all plantations. Cameron Highlands is famous for its strawberries,cool climate and much more. The place in Cameron Highlands we stayed in is called Chefoo. Chefoo is a methodist centre and it used to be a school. We reach Chefoo around 2o'clock. The facilities in Chefoo changed a lot. Like the rooms, the bathroom and more.
On the second day, we had the morning warm up then we had breakfast and when into 5 groups. After that, we had team building. Not long after a long time in the hot sun, we went to the organic farm and learned about their methods of planting. We saw plants like broccoli, cabbage and more. We came back to Chefoo then we practiced for teaching in IJC school. It was already night by that time so each group started their practice for the talent night.
On the 3rd day,we woke up, morning exercise, eat then team building as usual. It was near afternoon so we went to a tea plantation and listen to the tour guide explaining about the plantation. After that,we had a forest re-plantation program. So we hiked the hill and planted the trees.It was hot but really fun. After that, we went back for lunch then we went back to the BOH plantation and had tea. It was nearly evening so we went to the IJC school. the group were separated into groups of two. One was going to teach Science and another was teaching English. It was quite hard to teach them but they can under stand what we were saying. At the end of the day, we practiced for the talent night, had dinner and end of the 3rd day.
It was the fourth day, almost going back to the hot place in Penang, but I am home sick already.This day we did nothing much but practiced a lot for the talent night and played sports like basketball, football and Frisbee. during the evening, we made final preparations for the talent night then the talent night started near the night. The talent night was quite surprising and my group did skit about a girl being kidnapped when she was young and never stop hoping that her dream hero will come to save her. After a few years, her dream hero came and saved her at last. So each group has different skit and it was exciting to watch. After talent night, we had BBQ night. We ate Satay, corn, chicken and a lot more. So that was the end of the fourth day.
This was the last day, the day we go back to our homes. On our way home, we stop at a strawberry farm and cafe. I bought a strawberry milkshake and a pack of strawberry with sugar with cream and honey. It was very sweet but delicious. Then we headed back slowly. Before we left Cameron Highlands, we stop by somewhere, to have a nibble. The place we went had mostly dessert with strawberry so most of the people bought some dessert to eat. So we went back to home. The end.
